Patchworks Studio 1st Annual 'Flowers on Friday' Challenge - Summer 2014

Want some summer fun?  How about a challenge for the summer
(winter for my friends 'down under')

Four blog entries showing flowers from my garden were posted during June 2014.

The challenge:

Make a quilt (or table runner, bed runner, table square) using one of the four
June 2014 Flowers on Friday photographs as your inspiration

Here are the details and rules:

You must use photographs from one of these
four blog posts as inspiration for your entry.

(Click the name to see the blog post)

  • Your quilt must be 3 layers and must be completely finished.
  • The minimum perimeter must be 80" (for example, your project could be 20" square; or it could be a runner measuring 15" x 25").
  • There is no maximum size.
  • Your quilt DOES NOT have to be a 'flower' quilt.
  • The style can be traditional, contemporary, modern or an art quilt.
  • You can use any technique but you may not print the picture and use it in any part of your quilt.

How to Enter:

EMAIL two photographs of your completed project -
one full view and one closeup
to Daphne Greig, Patchworks Studio

Email address is:
